Where The Journey Begins!
Bringing your new baby to childcare can be a very challenging decision for any parent, especially a new one. At Precious Memories Place we make this transition as comfortable as possible for both you and your child. Our main objective is to provide a warm, welcoming and safe environment where your child can thrive and grow to their full potential. Our goal is to create a setting where parents and children feel secure and supported.
The philosophy and goal of our infant program is to provide all of the comforts of home, while encouraging growth and development through activities specifically designed for their age group. Infants receive a lot of tender care by well trained, responsible and mature staff. They spend a good portion of their day singing, listening to stories and experiencing plenty of floor time with their friends and caretakers.
In our youngest classrooms, caretakers follow each infant’s individual schedule. We try to keep your baby’s routine as consistent as possible to your routine at home. This first year of your infant’s life is such a time of growth and change; good communication between you and your child’s teacher is essential. Parents will find plenty of opportunity to talk to the staff at either drop-off or pick-up time and we have an open door policy where you may call or pop in at anytime. In our Infant 1 & 2 classrooms the age ranges from six weeks to one year old. Infants receive plenty of tender loving care, floor play, singing, stories and one on one teacher time. Your baby will make new friends, grow and learn in a caring and safe surrounding.

At every level--infant, toddler, pre-school and the new before and after partner program with Coogan Farm--our children have been happy, active, and safe...and more than ready for kindergarten! They really know our kids: what they like, what sets them off, what will distract them for a smooth and quick drop off...and they know when I need a hand getting my screaming three-year-old son into his coat, or finding an extra owl sticker for the baby, or just a pause and a chat at the end of the day before heading down the hall to gather my energetic trio. Balancing work and family is hard for us all, but Precious Memories has made it possible for me and my husband to do so with confidence, and we couldn't be more grateful.
