Preschool Program
Our Preschool Program is designed to foster social growth and lots of exploration. Challenge is shared between students and teachers to encourage motivation and introduce a commitment to learning. An extensively themed environment is created to provide many opportunities for observation, research and self expression. The Preschool Program offers an inspiring atmosphere for both growing and learning.
This program ensures an abundance of materials and equipment, available to children for not only academic purposes, but also for social, emotional and cognitive growth. In addition, the regular movement enhances a child’s skills for adaptation. It is through this developmental stage that strong bonds with friends form and learning to understand the needs of others begins to emerge.
Center Based Learning
The Journey of Learning celebrates exploration, while delighting children with new found interests. A cart of age appropriate toys, books, and equipment, known as the Journey Express, visits each classroom weekly for a scheduled time. It provides children the opportunity of focused play with a flare of excitement and adventure. Young children learn from new experiences and their world is expanded through interactive play and discovery. Through the Journey of Learning, children enjoy manipulatives that support all areas of growth. Our Journey Express is equipped with valuable materials in the following areas:

Responsibility, follow through, and goal setting all play a role in The Journey of Learning. Children embrace the tasks of nurturing all equipment on the Journey Express Cart and are eager to plan tasks and interests for its next visit!

We have been so fortunate to have such wonderful care for our children. At every level--infant, toddler, pre-school and the new before and after partner program with Coogan Farm--our children have been happy, active, and safe...and more than ready for kindergarten! They really know our kids: what they like, what sets them off, what will distract them for a smooth and quick drop off...and they know when I need a hand getting my screaming three-year-old son into his coat, or finding an extra owl sticker for the baby, or just a pause and a chat at the end of the day before heading down the hall to gather my energetic trio. Balancing work and family is hard for us all, but Precious Memories has made it possible for me and my husband to do so with confidence, and we couldn't be more grateful.
